The malondialdehyde (MDA), TNF-α, IL-1β, and IL-6 levels were evaluated by ELISA (Hengyuan Biological Technology, Shanghai, China). The expression of inflammation-related genes (Col 1, Tgf-β, Arg-1, Il-10, Tnf-α, Il-1β, and Il-6) was quantified using RTPCR (Table S2). To further assess the efficacy of the hydrogel, angiogenesis in wounds was evaluated by immunofluorescence staining of CD31, VEGF, and α-SMA.
